m_nguyenzx
Just brought everything new except for the memory and dvd drive. Everything is set at default on BIOS except the memory timing(3 4 4 8 @200Mhz) and memory volt at 2.7volts. I also raise the Vcore from 1.3875 to 1.4 volts. So far random crashes and system freeze during window 2003 installation. Never get to finish installing window. Random blue screen saying that the memory have be dump or something like that. Just wondering what the problem could be. Any idea would be appreciated. Thanks Just swap the corsair with kings-tons value 1gb ram, finish window installation. Running Prime95 right now without window crash. Are the memory bad or motherboard don't support these ram?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 2, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 2, 2006 Please try and set the timings to Cas 3-3-3-8 and set the voltage to 2.7 volts and test the modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 3, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 3, 2006 You might check for the latest bios and then load optimized defaults and set the timings and voltage and test them again.
m_nguyenzx
tried that now have a different problem. Once finish windows 2003 installation and reboot after update, windows won't see my dvdburner under computer management. Under bios, it's there. Once in windows, burner disappear.
