halo1234
Hi, I'm having real trouble trying to push passed the 2.6gig barrier on the below setup. Even at 2.6 I'm having stability issues. One point that may be holding me back is my RAM as I can only reach 2.7 volts. Above this I cannot post & with no other variable changed at 2.7 I can post. I've trtied loose timings but I would hope at 216 FSB I could post at 2225 @ 2.8? Hope you can help. Thanks
Wired
Try 3-4-4-8, see what happens
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted February 2, 2006 Corsair Employee Share Posted February 2, 2006 That might suggest a power problem, I would try your system with another PSU if you can.
halo1234
So you think that Tagan 480 watts PSU is struggerling? I must admit I was thinking that too as I'm asking allot of it with the extra fans & water pump. If that's the case I think I will back off as I'm not willing to pay £80 for what I would need to improve on the Tagan. Thanks
halo1234
thanks for the answer, any other feedback? I'm not 100% sure but I think it's my RAM/PSU thats holding me back. I can get my CPU right up to 2.650 stable, but as soon as I bring the deviders down on the RAM, things go wrong. My rails under load seem pretty steady, but I'm only looking at the deviantes from MBM & OCCT.
