Was working fine untill today..turned on computer booted to windows and imediately it shut down..rebooted windows error report showed bad ram module and 1 minute later shut itself off .After that installed old corsair 512mb's in it and no more problems.Module was purchased at Newegg.com on 06/13/2005. I need an rma number as comp will not run long enough to test the module.

Thanks

Memory

The SY-P4VTE supports PC2100, PC2700 and PC3200 DDR (non-registered and non-ECC) memory modules.

First, Corsair's closed for the day. They won't respond till tomorrow.

Also, CMX1024RE is REGISTERED ECC memory, neither is supported according to their website. The memory configurator linked to from their site only shows unregistered, non-ecc memory from that manufacturer, and the Corsair compatiblity site shows the same thing (http://compatible.corsairmemory.com).
