A few comments on the update from my experience.
First, I love the modular change. It's better at reducing bloat on our end and allows you to manage product lifecycle/support on your end.

With the update, I'm occasionally getting firmware prompts from my HS80 (both wired and wireless receiver). Especially after resuming from sleep mode. Also, my corsair vengeance RAM lighting "flip-flops" direction. I have it set to go north>south but the lights occasionally go south>north. When I power on/resume it's 50-50 which way the animation will run. I have edited my profile to "up" but now it's not intuitive - as the animation runs down. Not a big deal but this may impact others using directional animation for other products.

Which effect are you running with your RAM?

MSI Plugins NOT work... Why?

Hey, hey!

Just to wanted to clarify that the MSI Plugin is meant to be used with the JCORSAIR header that is available on some MSI motherboards. The MSI Plugin does not allow iCUE to control MSI related motherboard RGB or GPU as was done for ASUS.

Colour Wave. There's a direction option. I've attached settings screenshot. Not sure why it's not showing correct slot placement in the image, I installed RAM in the correct slots (not together), but doesn't matter.

The color issue with Nexus is still not fixed. Multiple pleas to make the values text-colored again instead of graph-colored to enhance the readability are simply ignored! It seems to be a huuuuge issue changing the color back... I'm very disappointed!

Yeah, I am really tired of this.  Unfortunately, most of the changes in this first release CUE 5 are going to be related to the modularity alone.  It's not a massive UI overall like CUE 3->4.

I've seen this once or twice before.  Most likely the RAM configuration file is corrupted and because there isn't a separate config file for the RAM, you likely need to do a clean install of CUE.  However, before you do -- go to the DIMM Setup and change it to a few other things before putting it back in 1x4.  See if that resets the modules to their proper place.  The mis-represented virtual modules is related.

I will wait quietly for the update to be offered to me through the application

Anyone have random volume changes after the update? Jumps up or down 20%, sometimes reverting to previous levels shortly, but not always. Driving me nuts.

You have to rearrange the DIMM  order in "DIMM Setup" tab

I love that this has gone modular, but I'd ask Corsair to *also* provide a single download installer. There are some of us who have to do multiple installs on a bunch of machines with a variety of hardware or need to do installs on offline machines. So it's much more convenient to have a single download we can cart around on a USB drive.

will this version brick every time windows updates or i install some other program on my pc like the last version did?

I've never had any problems with iCUE messing up windows. My advice to you is that if you're having issues then close iCUE prior to any Windows Update.

I gave this latest  version of iCue 5 a try.  An install over iCue 4, the latest release version. The update seemed to go fine.  All my Corsair products were recognized.  Keyboard, H110 cooler, mouse and memory. The issue is that upon resuming from s3 sleep mode, version 5.0.XXX gives me a black screen every time. iCue 4, works fine on resuming from S3 sleep.

Uninstalled iCue 5, reinstalled iCue 4 and the system resumes properly from S3 sleep.

Sometimes my Memory shows up in iCue 5 and sometimes it doesnt? Is this a bug?

When I first installed iCue 5 it performed a Firmware update on my DDR5 Vengance RGB 6000mhz

Sometimes it shows up in the Home screen, sometimes it doesnt. Any ideas?

K100 Keyboard - The Mute button, Win Lock and Profile buttons will ocassionally stop working and get "stuck" requiring a quit and restart of iCUE to get them working again. Sometimes  the Lock button will turn white and get stuck there, despite having a define color on that button. Keyboard otherwise works fine. Has this issue been seen by others in iCUE v5?

Before this I had v4.33.138 installed and it was working fine. so not sure exactly what is causing this, as I can install v4.33.138 without any issues.

Unsure on what is actually causing this one.. I've already tried restarting my computer to see if that would fix it or not and sadly it did not.

K70 RGB Pro Keyboard. RGB lights turn off randomly. Keyboard still works but lights are off. Only way to fix is to unplug and replug. Anyone else seen this? I am on the latest firmware.

So looks like pretty much a complete clean install of my windows 11 was the only solution to even try V5 of icue.. Good thing I was upgrading to a new NVMe drive otherwise I'd not even of bothered for another year or two..
