Mouse side button causes windows to be unresponsive.

When I press a side button on my mouse (CORSAIR Sabre RGB PRO) while playing Valorant it causes windows to become totally unresponsive. After the side mouse button has been pressed If I don't tab out of the game, it with continue to run fine  although it wont register the input and windows still stops responding. I have tried updating drivers and other fixes but nothing is working. This is kinda annoying because every time I hit a side mouse button I have to reboot my pc and I cant use the mouse's side buttons as key binds.
