https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Power-Supply-Units/hxi-series-config/p/CP-9020074-NA#tab-overview

Looking at the PSU cable compatibility matrix didnt really help me understand what i need. Can any one advise me which sata power cables i need for this PSU?

If the unit you have is the same that you linked, then you'll need Type 3 SATA cables for your PSU.  You can purchase stock replacement cables through the following link if you need a replacement:

We also have premium sleeved cables if that is what you are looking for.  These are sold individually or as a set.  The chart through the link below will help identify the specific types that are compatible with your PSU:

Let us know if you have any other questions.

Hi Thanks for that. Yeah that is the PSU i'm using, hence why i linked it.

For some reason the bottom half of my post got cut off. I did include that I have been to that compatibility matrix but i really couldn't make heads  or tails of it.  The matrix is a little difficult to understand and thats probably why you are seeing a lot of posts asking about which cables to use with which PSU's.

We tried to make the matrix as easy to understand as possible.

You have an HXi.  Under "All HXi" (it hasn't been updated for the one that launched this month) it says "Type 3 - SATA/PATA".   Above the table it says, "The only difference between Type 3 and Type 4 cables is the pinout of the 24-pin ATX cable; all other cables (SATA, PCIe, etc) are the same."

That means for SATA and PATA, you would use Type 3.  But since Type 3 and Type 4 are the same, you can use either.
