teff
Well i bought my "Shuttle SB75G2" and when i came to the point that it was time to start the computer, it simply froze when it showed the Intel Pentium 4 logo. (in boot-up) .. Then i rebooted and it did the same thing.. Then i removed one of the ram chips, and then it worked.. And i have no idea why it wont work with a double Corsair 512mb chip(s) Can anyone help me ? :-) Thank you. http://de.shuttle.com/en/desktopdefault.aspx/tabid-72/170_read-633/ Link to the specs of the shuttle i have ! teff
What CPU / FSB do you have? What is the exact part # and revision # of each stick? Is it a TwinX pack? How To Read the Memory Label I have an "Intel Pentium 4, 3,2 ghz CPU" And yes, it says "Corsair TWINX" Part number: CMX512-3200 Version: 4.1. Made: 0411115-5 04 = Year it was made (2004) 11 = Week it was made (11th week) 115 = ICs used (which only Corsair employees have access to the code table for) Also says : XMS3200, 512mb, 400MHz and 3338 Of that was of any help ;| :) and btw, i can upload a picture of the ram chip. But i have to charge the cam battery first ;p
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 13, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 13, 2005 Please test the modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org and I would set the Dim Voltage to 2.7 Volts as well. If you do find one failing then lets get it or them replaced. Please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However; if you get errors with both modules, that would suggest some other problem. And I would try testing the memory in another system to be sure.
