AndreZA
I have a very interesting issue. As the title suggests, I don't know where the problem is. My motherboard is n Asus B450 F Gaming. It only has two USB 2 headers. As indicated in the images, the one does not play well with the hardware/software. On 1314 it works 100%. On 1112, it does not. Firstly in 1112 it pics up the fans as LL fans (LED rings on the hub and outside) when the stock fans are ML (LEDs only on the inside). Secondly, on fan 1 it pics up the inside ring as fan 1 and outside ring as fan 2. It does not do anything to the actual fan 2. I've been in the BIOS and everything to do with USB are enabled. Unfortunately my front panel USB ports are all USB 3 so I can not even plug that into the headers to test. Has anybody experienced this? The USB headers. 1314 works correctly with the fans, 1112 does not. Profile in iCue and how fans pick them up. All correct if plugged into USB 1314. Baio
Strange problem... could be a faulty USB header. Did you try a repair installation of iCue? When plugged into 1112 header, did you try to force the correct fan type? Baio
DevBiker
What you are seeing isn't a fault with the software or the USB port. In image 1 (USB 1112), you have the fans configured as LL-RGB fans. In image 2 (USB 1314), you have them configured as ML-RGB fans. The LEDs are controlled by the number and position in the sequence. What you are seeing in picture 1 is exactly what I'd expect to see for a misconfigured channel.

I got it sorted, thank you. I don't think are are enough "I feel so stupid" emojis to hide behind. Can a moderator please delete this thread.
