striker
I am running dual 512MB sticks on my Asus A8N. I RMA'd the first pair, and everything went fine until I rebooted. Now it will only recognize one of the 2 sticks no matter what slots. Please help!!!
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted March 7, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 7, 2005 Please test the modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org and lets make sure one is not failing.
striker
I have tested the first which ran flawlessly. Then I tried to test the 2nd and no matter how it is seated it will not boot to test. I noticed that when this stick sits it sits sort of loose as compared to the other stick. No matter which slot the stick that will not boot sits loose, it will wobble side to side not fitting really tight like the working stick.
