yo ramguy,

i have a problem with my twinx3200XL, in every review i have read, they hit the 250fsb@2,5-3-3-7. On the moment i can't even hit the 230fsb stable, i returned my fsb to 205 on 2-2-2-5 mem voltage@2,85v.

memtest gave me an error within 5min  . is this a legal reason to rma my twinx 3200xlpt? this ram is overclockers ram, richt? if iam not able to hit the 230fsb@2,5-3-3-7 stable, do i have al legal reason to rma it then?

thnx in advance

Can you tell me the make and model of MB you have along with the CPU speed and it’s FSB as well? In addition, please tell me the bios settings you have set for both CPU and memory and any performance settings that you may have set?

Memtest will run in Unix, the utility you down load will for the O.S. you are using when you make the Disk weather its a floppy or CD.

First you would download the memtest utility to your HDD, then using http://www.winzip.com extract it to the same directory.

Please then get a floppy and do a fresh full format on it, and if there are any bad sectors just throw it away and get a new one. The click on the install.bat file in the directory where you downloaded and extracted the files and follow the on screen prompts.
