thorpemark
Hi All.. first post. I have a Corsair 330R and Asus Tuf Z270 Mark 1 mobo with Win 10 Pro 64. Corsair water cooling and Power supply. The front USB 3 ports have power but any USB sticks I plug in do not appear as drives. I have tried a number of things... like removing all USB devices in the OS and allowing it to repopulate with new drivers. Anyone here run into this or could point me in the right direction to make sure I have done everything to diagnose the issue? A USB stick that has a LED shows it is getting power. So I think I have the header in the right place.. but its been awhile since I did a new build so I am doubting myself. Thank you.
Toasted
You will want to double check the connections to the motherboard e.g. make sure it is not loose. Do the USB drives work fine on other computers?
Charlbotha
Are all the usb drivers for the motherboard installed on the system?
snapper69
I read recently about a similar problem that was cured by installing the Intel usb 3.0 drivers. Sadly I can't remember where I read it, as I go on a number of forums.
