wojohowitz1
Got my Corsair Carbide 500R. And just now learning that the thumbscrews are not supposed to come out from the side panels. I imagine the fan on the side of the case is meant to pull air out of the case? Are the standoffs in the case already setup for an ATX motherboard? I love the on and off function for the fan lights. snapper69
Looking at the position and description, I would say that the side fan draws air in to the case and onto the GPU. The mount appears to have a mesh filter and the description says it's for extra GPU cooling.

Yup the case is already setup to accept an ATX motherboard, as well as a few others. Just a heads up for when you go to install everything, the pin in the middle is just to center the board while you mount the rest of the screws. You won't have to thread anything onto it.
