Cyclops25
Its time to change out the Yate Loon D14BH-12 fan in my AX1200 for a more quiet one. Its the loudest part in my system by far. Dont worry about my warranty because that was broken a couple of years ago due to a very stubborn dust bunny. As i understand its a non standard pwm pinout, anyone know what the correct pinout for it so i can make a converter? Regards from Norway. PS: its a plain AX1200 not the i version. Type411
I know this an old tread. But I looked around and did not find a simple answer: Yateloon colors: Green = Positiv + Black = Ground - Yellow= RPM Blue = PWM Get a fan that has a low starting voltage, like 4.5-5 volt. Like Noiseblocker. And be carefull not to get the 29mm version. It will not fit inside the housing.
