Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 5, 2004 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 5, 2004 This module has not been tested with this MB by Tyan as of yet, but I would refer you to Tyan's QVL List for the modules that will work.
jcang2
I can see that this module is not on the list, but is there any reason why this module won't work with my motherboard, when other modules with similar capacities, but different chip density work. eg CM74SD1024R-2100/S Thanks. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 8, 2004 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 8, 2004 They should work with this MB, but you maight not be able to mix them with the memory you have now. And I would update to the latest bios before you start.

jcang2
Yes, the CM72SD1024RLP-2100 does work with the tyan s2466n-4m. But, can you tell me if there's any compatibility issues between CM72SD1024RLP-2100 and CM72SD512RLP-2100? b/c I now have 2 dimms of CM72SD1024RLP-2100 in the Tyan MB, and I'd like to stick in another stick of CM72SD1024RLP-2100 and CM72SD512RLP-2100 respectively, bringing the total memory to 3.5GB. Also, will the performance of the system take a hit, from filling out all the memory slots? (or mixing different memory sizes) Thanks.
