donalgodon
Thank you for contacting EVGA, there are some known issues with compatibility with other software that conflicts with XOC. I do not recommend trying to use multiple programs at once for at the moment there is no known solution. If you have any further questions feel free to reach out. Thanks EVGA I followed up by asking what they do recommend.
DevBiker
That's total BS. The problem is that they are attempting to take control of the cooler - essentially taking over another vendor's device.
donalgodon
Maybe Corsair can become an nvidia board partner and start making GPUs.
firerx
I think the control in the RGB lighting is the issue, not the cooling control. Both software has lighing control. I rolled back XOC to build 6.16 and turned off the updates for a while til they sort the issue out. :)

Only one application can access the cooler via USB at a time. For any reason ... monitoring, lighting control, etc. EVGA's software takes over that interface and doesn't allow Link to access the device. It's rude and it's wrong.
