EVGA's response to XOC and Corsair Link incompatibility

Thank you for contacting EVGA, there are some known issues with compatibility with other software that conflicts with XOC. I do not recommend trying to use multiple programs at once for at the moment there is no known solution.

I think the control in the RGB lighting is the issue, not the cooling control. Both software has lighing control. I rolled back XOC to build 6.16 and turned off the updates for a while til they sort the issue out. :) Edited by firerx

Yes ... specifically, the lighting for the cooler.

 

Only one application can access the cooler via USB at a time. For any reason ... monitoring, lighting control, etc.

 

EVGA's software takes over that interface and doesn't allow Link to access the device. It's rude and it's wrong.
