krissthebliss
I got my new my k65 and I enjoying it thus far however it kinda produces static/electric shocks when I touch the edge of the metallic part of the board. Is this normal or do I need to send to RMA? If I send this RMA how will I get it back?
Corsair Employee Corsair James Posted May 24, 2017 Corsair Employee Share Posted May 24, 2017 Its not the keyboard that is shocking you, its the power being supplied via USB. You just need to ground your system.

Well, how do I do that? I'm fairly new to this problem. My computer is on the floor so that I can have more desk space.
Corsair Employee Corsair James Posted May 25, 2017 Corsair Employee Share Posted May 25, 2017 Typically in the US, we use 3 socket outlets as they contain ground. If you don't have a 3 socket, you'll need to find an alternate way to ground your system (which is important too for the longevity of your parts). You can ask an electrician on how to do so.
