mrcrow915
Hello, my problem is that when I play and the pc heats up, the back of the case creaks.
Toasted
Are you able to record the sound? It could be coil whine instead.
snapper69
If you touch the back of the case, does it stop?
.Griff.
I appreciate it's a different case but does it sound like this? [ame] [/ame]
Corsair Employee Greybeard Posted November 30, 2017 Corsair Employee Share Posted November 30, 2017 Not 100% sure if that is the case in that video. That ticking sound doesn't sound like plastic expanding due to heat, the intervals are pretty consistent. But that said, I have seen in the past were 780T owners had mentioned about cracking sound from the case caused by the plastic panel expanding around the chassis when the system is under load. Some of the users were able to identify where the source is, most were coming from the side panels. I would just make sure that both side panels are latched in properly that way when your system temp rises, the panels will have some room to breath.
