Neuromancer1984
Hi, I've had a wireless Corsair Void Pro for about 2 months now, and last night the was no longer able to be recognized by Windows. It had been working only minutes before, and after unplugging the USB and plugging it back in a minute later, the error message popped up: "USB Device Not Recognized: The last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it." This was on a laptop while I was on vacation (got back today). Tried plugging it back in to the desktop computer at home and got the same error. The dongle does not light up when plugged in and it does not matter which of the eight USB ports I plug it into. Any ideas what to do? Maybe the dongle got dinged up somehow in transport (was vacationing via plane) but it refusing to be recognized anymore was also very sudden and it was working moments before. Corsair Employee Corsair Nick Posted March 5, 2018 Corsair Employee Share Posted March 5, 2018 Have you tried performing a Force Firmware update in the global settings? Try performing one, and if that fails, I would put in a support ticket on our website, and one of our Technical Support staff can help you out with replacing the dongle. https://support.corsair.com/
Neuromancer1984
I haven't tried that, how do I go about forcing a firmware update? Thanks!
Corsair Employee Corsair Nick Posted March 6, 2018 Corsair Employee Share Posted March 6, 2018 The firmware update button (Arrow pointing down at line) is in the Global Settings (gear wheel) under the Void Pro headset.
Neuromancer1984
I downloaded CUE but not sure where to go, there was no other Corsair software on my computer before that, but under Global Settings in there I don't see any firmware update button/arrow pointing to a line. All I see are DEMO "X" product tabs. The Help steps say the firmware update option should be there, but I don't see it. My Corsair headset is both plugged into the computer via cable and has the (not working properly) dongle plugged in too.
Corsair Employee Corsair Nick Posted March 8, 2018 Corsair Employee Share Posted March 8, 2018 Firmware update should look like the circled icon in the global settings. If this doesn't show up with the Void, I'd reach out to Technical Support to review for a replacement dongle. https://support.corsair.com/

Corsair Employee Corsair Albert Posted December 14, 2020 Corsair Employee Share Posted December 14, 2020 i have a corsair ironclaw wireless rgb i was at school and my wireless usb reciever was working fine, i then came home to an error saying that the usb device is not detected does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it? if there is no fix to it could i maybe buy a new reciever? Hi xenu, Is Windows not detecting the USB dongle at all, or is it just iCUE that is unable to detect it? I suggest opening a ticket at https://help.corsair.com in the meantime as they'll be able to help troubleshoot and replace the dongle if necessary.
