rick125
Hi everyone, I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to the internal workings of a PC - so relying on your advice. I've recently upgraded my memory from 4x4 1333Mhz 16GB to 8x2 2400MHz 16GB. http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/components/memory-pc/ddr3memory/ddr3pc3-192002400mhz/cmy16gx3m2a2400c11r.html I've looked in my PC's BIOS and can still set that the memory frequency is set to 1333MHz. Is it a good idea to increase this to 2400MHz, leave as it is or increase to somewhere in the middle? Would really appreciate your input on this. Thanks in advance, Rick. :)
emissary42
Use the XMP function, that sets memory speed timings and voltage(s). Your mainboard manual should mention this somewhere.
