Gambino
Nice results, a little bit better in "write" tests and the time how fast it getting the full speed (i think this is the parameter on bars)
G0pher_61
Yes, I think those are something like what one would expect based on the advertised performance. The drive is almost brand new though, only seen limited use for a week now - it will be interesting to see where the numbers are in, say, a year. Its running on Win 7 64bit, i52500K & fitted in a Sata3 connection on my Gigabyte z68 board Looks like you're running your CPU with the higher C-states like C3-C6 enabled. It is known, on Gigabyte boards at least, to slow down SSD performance considerably. It is also required for the CPU Turbo mode to work correctly tho, but seeing you chose the 2500k I assume you're overclocking so you're probably not using Turbo anyway. To get the full performance on my Gigabyte board I usually keep C3-C6 disabled. The CPU will use a bit more power during idle (~6w) and turbo won't work, but I'm overclocking anyway and not using it, so it's a small price to pay in my book. You could try it out and see how it works for you :)

Logun
Weird results you got there Logun. Powersavings/antivirus/windows update/other activity could be the root of the issue? Powersavings was set to high performance All Windows updates were completed and several restarts done - including a fresh restart only for the purpose of a clean slate before each benchmark The only other thing it could possibly be would be Norton AV running in the background, that would be all
