gadget_lova
Sorry if this is not the correct room to ask this type of question. What is the color of this memory's heatspreader? G stands for gold or green? From the looks of its box and preview picture, it is gold. But from the explanation it is green. Also, customer from newegg report that the color is olive green, not gold. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233247&Tpk=cmz16gx3m4x1600c9g It will be nice if corsair can clear this up.. gadget_lova
And now, someone say it is more like gold than green.. I'm confuse.. Why did corsair say it is military green first, then the picture tell it is gold. If it is indeed wrong, why did corsair doesn't fix the picture? Is anyone has a real picture of it?? Jaquith
^The above posts are ALL wrong, they are indeed 'Gold' ; I have two sets. If using XMP, though I'm still needing to 'tweak' the kits set the CPU VCCSA -> 1.00v, XMP loads 1.20v which IMO for DRAM of 1.35v is crazy. http://i1013.photobucket.com/albums/af254/Jaquith/Davids-Computer-Office.jpg
