  1. Since a few weeks, it's broken again. This has been an issue for a long time, already. When will you fix this, Corsair?
  2. This problem has been fixed since a couple of weeks, either through a Corsair update, or maybe a Win 10 update. Or a combination. Who's to say? Since then, the problem has only occurred once. But the LEDs have worked all day, on every other day.
  3. I don't think the LEDs are failing. I have multiple of these keyboards and if I remember correctly, the one I was using previously had it too. I tend to agree with frizur, here. Every interface is a leaky abstraction. The inner workings always shine through. And the firmware is indeed software, which can indeed get updated. The problem exists. Hard to imagine I'm the only one in the world who has it, across multiple Win10 installations and multiple keyboards. I'll hook up another one of my K95's soon, just to be sure. This problem seems hard to diagnose, so I'm not sure if I'll ever find the cause, even with Corsair support's help.
  4. Dear support, My K95 RGB's Caps/Num/Scroll Lock LEDs will randomly stop working, during the day. When I start up my system, they will work. Sometimes they stop working shortly after booting, other times they will work for hours on end. But never do I see a whole day of them working. They always stop responding at some point. The keys themselves still work. Toggling caps lock will let me switch between typing lower/upper case letters. Toggling num lock will let me type numbers on the numeric keys. I'm sure scroll lock works too, even though I never use it. It's only the LEDs that stop responding. They can get stuck in their off state or in their on state. When stuck in the off state, they refuse to turn on. When stuck in the on state, they refuse to turn off. This problem has been around for a long time. I'm surprised it never got fixed. It's starting to become annoying. It can't be a hardware problem, because: My other K95 RGB also has this. It also happened on my previous Win 10 installation. Rebooting fixes it. It wasn't always like this. It's got to be a software problem. Although shutting down iCUE doesn't make stuck-in-on LEDs turn off. Restarting iCUE doesn't work: it takes a long time to start and then goes into 'not responding' mode. Does anybody else have stuck lock LEDs on their K95 RGB? Can it be fixed with a driver update? Sincerely, Jay
  5. Hi Corsair, Before the recent update, the keyboard's default lighting scheme (the one it shows when icue is not loaded yet) was a very pretty yellow/orange/brown. I liked it. But with the latest update, it's now gone. The keyboard only shows the M1 key white now. Months ago, there was a lighting scheme where WASD was colored red, where most of the keyboard was lighting up another color. I'd like to download those default lighting schemes and use them. Are they available somewhere? Sincerely, Jay
  6. I've just purchased a used, good as new K95 RGB Cherry Red for half the new price. It is experiencing the same problem: no red light on the mute key. This used one is a backup to my existing one, which is Cherry Brown. I must say, I do like the Cherry Red feeling a lot, so I think I'll keep using this one for the time being. Wish I had gone with Cherry Red on my first one as well. What have I been missing out all these years? Oh, well... better to have a malfunctioning mute button than any other button. I've simply turned its light off in my profile. You've just gotta have 2 keyboards like this, because who knows how long it will take Corsair to come around and produce another 18 G-Key keyboard.
  7. I have the K95 RGB with 18 G-Keys and I'm loving it. Had a Logitech G15 before it, but Corsair has superior build quality. I can't imagine a life without 18 G-Keys. These keyboards are now hard to come by. I dread the day that my current keyboard gives out on me. Corsair, if you care to listen to your customer base at all... always keep a keyboard with 18 G-Keys in your assortment.
