  1. Thanks Greg, that's really helpful. Ya, that was my thought. Why I was thinking the Satin Transparent or the Satin White. The Satin Transparent looks like it has enough of a surface that it'll catch the colouring pretty well, while still being able to show some essence of the fluid movement.
  2. Thanks, I appreciate it. They look nice, and could definitely work in the build. But I'm thinking that either the Satin White or Transparent would be better to pick up some of the colour from the lighting. So much black in the case as it is that it'll give them something to stand out against.
  3. Okay, that makes sense. But in that scenario, I'd still need 2 additional compression fittings to connect the tube to the ball valve right? I guess the thing that has me lost is why the one end of the ball valve looks like it comes off? Why aren't both ends the same?
  4. Does anyone have any pictures of what the Hydro X Satin tubing in Transparent, White, and Black looks like in real life? The only pictures I can find are CAD renders of them. I'm curious what the real looks of them are. I'm looking to build my first watercooling loop in a Lian-Li Dynamic EVO all black case, so trying to think of what color tubing I want. I don't want clear, as I'm planning to run clear fluid to keep maintenance down, and debating about what the other tubing colors will look like in my system.
  5. Ya, my plan was to put one of those in the loop as well, but I couldn't figure out how to attach the ball valve off of that. Seems strange that Corsair offers the ball valve, but no way to attach it to your loop without getting third-party components.
  6. I'm looking to build my first watercooling rig, and want to add the ball valve to the loop. However, it looks to me that it's female openings on either end, so how do you actually connect it to the loop? I'll get a XF Rotary Y connector to split the line to attach the ball valve to, but what do you use to connect it to the Y-connector?
