  1. Are you using iCUE to control the curves or are you using hardware fan curves? If you're using iCUE, simply create a new fan curve and assign the CPU Package Temp as the source/sensor in the center of the fan curve configuration window, that should remove any weirdness you see from the LED's heating the pump thermistor. Then you don't need to spend any money or replace the cooler.
  2. If you did leave the cables there and plugged the CORSAIR PSU in, that's a pretty big no-no. EVGA doesn't use the same pinout as us and this can potentially damage your hardware. Luckily, doesn't sound like it kicked on and fried, so if this is what you've done, just swap the cables for the CORSAIR cables and it should work.
  3. Also, FYI - the H150i PRO XT was replaced by the H150i RGB ELITE cooler. The RGB ELITE does have the required 1700 mounting hardware in the box, the PRO XT does not since it was slated to be replaced before 1700 even arrived. Like Mage said though, just grab the retrofit kit and it'll work fine.
  4. You mean the backplate is loose against the motherboard and has some play? If yea, that is by design. When you torque down the top screws, it'll pull the backplate up and then the metal arms that clip to the cooler slightly bend to apply the force to the socket. https://help.corsair.com/hc/en-us/articles/360044789012-What-to-do-if-your-cooler-backplate-feels-loose-after-installation
  5. No, the guy said contact Corsair and they'll provide a new controller. If we don't have stock of the controller, they might ask to swap the whole unit since stock can take weeks to arrive if it's empty. Open up a ticket, include the invoice/receipt, and we should be able to mail a replacement controller. The controller is sensitive to ESD (e.g. static) so it's possible it was damaged on installation or assembly. This stuff happens when we're manufacturing thousands of these.
  6. Under Lighting Support I believe you can re-order the devices connected to the Commander CORE by dragging them around. Should be able to re-order the fans at least.
  7. Have you tried without the CommPRO and NZXT Hub? Remove all other USB devices and plug the CommCORE and LCD USBs directly into the motherboard to see if there's still any issue.
  8. 26 is still coming next week. The team changed their mind and released 25. Should fix any problems related to serial validation. The one above by rdh is a new problem I've not seen before. This likely means there's another problem that we're not familiar with going on, so the team will start digging into it. If you still have issues after the 25 update with red triangle, I would suggest you guys open up a ticket and work with them to RMA. Capturing problem units significantly helps us collate information and get logs etc over to our FW/SW teams. Also, 4.25 adds screen rotation.
  9. Sorry all. I was misinformed by my team about v4.25, that version was scrapped because we have v4.26 ready sooner than usual. We should be seeing a v4.26 pushed out next Monday that has this serial check removed.
  10. iCUE 4.25 should be out. This has the screen rotation and the serial check removed from the software side of things. Should help resolve some of the issues with people not seeing "Screen Setup." If you're not seeing the cooler and only see the Commander CORE and you have done all the troubleshooting steps around the cables/connectors, I would strongly suggest you open a ticket and RMA your cooler or get a replacement Commander CORE.
  11. I would try using a different program to rotate and save instead of using the windows built in rotation. I used to rotate images for testing using Photoshop (overkill but it worked) when we were speccing out the rotation. That said, rotation is coming in 4.25 which is set for release likely last week of June.
  12. If it's only showing the Commander CORE something isn't passing the module ID date through to the Commander CORE from the pump. Either it's a loose 20-pin or there's something wrong with the Commander CORE. I would suggest swapping that part first, especially if the pump is powering on.
  13. The 5000T comes with a Commander CORE XT and if you're getting an ELITE CAPELLIX/LCD cooler, that will also come with a Commander CORE. Can use those two to power/control 12 fans in the case. You can fully mix/match fans on the controllers easily, with the exception being the 3-pin RGB out on the Commander CORE XT. That port is designed for our "dumb" strips and does not have the data return line to allow us to poll the strip and count the LEDs.
  14. It would be a replacement. If you bought it from a retailer within the last 30 days and their return policy is still in effect, that would be the fastest way to get a new one.
  15. Glad to hear. Sorry about the ordeal. Hopefully you're enjoying the LCD!
  16. How old is the unit? Did you move the PC at all recently? Could just be clearing an air bubble. Still happens from time to time until the bubble settles in the highest point of the loop.
  17. If it's not an inconvenience, I would definitely swap it.
  18. Double check the 20-pin plug that goes into the Commander CORE from the pump head. Sounds like it might be loose or not fully seated, hence why it's not showing in iCUE and some of the features are working. There's a white line on the plug that should match up with the white line on the CommCORE housing. Can also use the included allen key to take the 4 screws off, pull the top RGB module off the pump, and then replug it in and screw it back down. Maybe one of the 9-pins under the cap isn't contacting something. Also, you should never unplug stuff like the 20-pin when it's in use. That has a tendency to cause things to break break with inrush current. If it's not detecting the cooler at all anymore, I would say that you should RMA it.
  19. Does it work if you remove the Commander PRO from the equation entirely? Connect the LCD and Commander CORE to their own internal USB ports without any hub or splitter sitting in between? You should always try to isolate problems when troubleshooting and limit variables.
  20. Some updates to the OP. First up the known issues. Issue #7: AM4 Hook Interference on Lower Skirt All new production LCD Upgrade Kits have the slot cut to help reduce potential for interference in older AM4 hook-style retention. ELITE LCD Coolers will not have this slot cut because they come with the newer standoff-style AM4 retention kit. New issue we're observing: Issue #8 The Commander CORE does not resolve the serial but does see the LCD and pump. This usually present where you can see the cooler in iCUE but cannot see SCREEN SETUP. We will be removing the serial check step in the software initialization and that should resolve some issues for people. This will mean that you cannot use multiple LCDs on the same PC, a la HEDT platforms with two CPU sockets, a very rare corner case. Issue Type: Software Status: In Testing Fix Timeframe: iCUE 4.25 (June 2022 Release) Couple updates to Future Planned Features. Screen Rotation Release Timeframe adjusted to iCUE 4.25 (June 2022 Release) This should be the release around late June, 25th or so. If you haven't noticed, we do monthly iCUE drops. Gallery Mode: Users will be able to select multiple screens/images to rotate through along with the necessary time parameters for said screens. We recognize that more users want to be able to see multiple data sets, so this is a quick way to allow you to do so while we work on more screens with more information on them. Release Timeframe: iCUE 4.27 (August 2022 Release) Note to all: If you're only seeing the Commander CORE and not the cooler at all, you have completed all availabe troubleshooting steps, and you KNOW that all the plugs are solid, I would contact our customer support and request an RMA for a new Commander CORE. Include your receipt in the ticket and that will help expedite things. They should be able to cross-ship the new controller to you so you don't have any down time.
  21. FYI to everyone here - The logic for the software is you either see the Commander Core OR the Cooler, never both. If the cooler is detected and everything is working, it "turns" the CommCORE into the cooler. If there is any errors in the Commander CORE detecting the cap device ID, serial number, or pump device ID, it will default to standalone mode and only show the Commander CORE. If you are only seeing Commander CORE, I would strongly suggest checking your cabling and the connection between the LCD/pump as that is the #1 reason for this. A loose 20-pin cable will cause issues with the Commander CORE being able to get this serial/module ID data. Also as a note, there is two firmwares here - one for the LCD Cap and one for the Commander CORE (aka "The Cooler"). You cannot put the "LCD Firmware" (v1.1.7.7) in the "Firmware" slot because that is for the CommCORE. If it's reading invalid firmware and you've confirmed FW compatibility for your device you're likely putting the wrong firmware in the wrong place. If you don't see LCD Firmware, it's likely something to do with the ID or serial detection I noted above. We're in process of removing the Serial Detection in iCUE 4.25 since the only reason that's there is to enable multiple coolers (serial is a unique identifier) in a single PC, but that's pretty rare nowadays. Hopefully this will help with some of the 'Screen Setup' not appearing issues. Lastly, some of you will see v2.0.0.1, this is an alternative source processor for the LCD cap and these caps are not compatible with v1.1.7.7 and will note Invalid Firmware. If you see v2.x.x.x, you do not need to update any firmware for the LCD as this alternative source already has the fixes we introduced for the original chipset. Any future updates for this part with be v2.x.x.x or newer. No this alternative isn't 'better', it is the same spec/design/etc and will function identically but as I'm sure you guys have seen there is a chip shortage and we need to have multiple qualified processor solutions for this to maintain supply continuity.
  22. One of the reasons some people aren't seeing the Screen Setup or LCD Firmware may be something happening with the serial number validation. We currently have the Commander CORE double check the serial and log it so that we can support people with multiple LCDs in a single PC (rare but yea). We'll be removing the serial detection/validation in a future update to iCUE that should hoppefully alleviate the issues you guys are having where it detects the LCD, cooler, and Commander CORE but isn't showing Screen Setup. Once I get the target version, I'll request Nick to add it to the OP.
  23. This means you're putting it in the wrong firmware place. Should be LCD FIRMWARE not FIRMWARE.
  24. power cycle, not reboot - shut down, pull the power cord from the wall, hit the power button 10x, replug and power back up, and then it should recover. If it recovers, you should update the LCD FIRMWARE via the Device Settings, not the Updates window, to v1.1.7.7.
