    SO...

I installed the LS-100 starter kit behind my center monitor in a triple monitor set up. The video ambient light does not work even after I select the center monitor from the drop down menu. So after some testing it looks like if I select the right monitor from the drop down menu it works fine.

When I select the middle monitor it some how thinks monitor 2 and 3 are the same one. if I drag a color along the bottom from screen 2 to 3 then the color changes on the lights. This seems like it should be a simple fix in some program settings. Maybe ad the ability for 3 monitor setups.

the other issue I thought it might be was a video resolution as my right monitor is 1280*1024, so I changed the center monitor for its default 1920*1080 to 1280*1020 but that did not change the issue.

any help or update would be appreciated.

This is a fresh install of icue-4 and i disabled nvidia experience game overlay.

could it be an issue with the software not detecting video output by display port? but reading HDMI?

Hey Tannis, apologies for not responding earlier. Have you tried other setups since this post (starting the strips from one side to another, hard iCue forced reset, new iCue profiles etc, same resolution monitors, changing display ports etc.) please let me know.

  2. Games I'm currently playing right now:

    1) Persona 4 Golden

    2) Stardew Valley

    3) Guild Wars 2

    4) Valhiem

Games I'm currently looking forward to:

    1) The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles

    2) Shin Megami Tensei V

    3) Tales of Arise

    I need a Playstation 5 badly... halp...

  3. I had all my fans hooked up to the CORSAIR iCUE Commander CORE that came with the H100i Elite Capellix Liquid CPU Cooler. Everything was working fine except that I had some things in a weird order that couldn't be fixed by just re-arranging them in the iCUE software because I have 8 fans with 2 splitters going into the Commander Core.

So, tonight I went through and plugged everything in the way that would work but now one of my LL120's isn't lighting up properly. All the lights work except for the outer LEDs on this one fan (bottom fan in the photo) -- and I've tried plugging it into every port and it doesn't make a difference.

I'm ready to buy a new one in case it broke somehow...but figured I'd try here to see if anyone has had this happen and know if there's anything I can do other than replace it...

  4. It's taken a while to get the GPU but I now have finally completed my 280X build.

    Z490

    Tuf 3070ti

    10700k

    2 x Sabrient Rocket M.2 1 X 2TB Barracuda HDD

    64GB 3200 corsair RGB 4X16

    Hydro 115i RGB 280mm inc 2 x 140 RGB fans

    Commander pro

    2 x Commander core

    2 x LL 120 RGB fans 2 x QL RGB fans

I've added spacers to raise the glass lid, staggered so it lifts more toward the viewing panel side, I've also now added 10mm rubber feet to the original feet to facilitate more airflow though the base.

The GPU fits easily, I went for the Tuf as I have a USB 3 expansion card in the bottom PCI slot and a lot of other cards would have either meant removing it or been way to snug against it.

My first build for many years so basically pretty chuffed it all works as should and no hassle now with the RGB no I have Aura and iCue sussed.

Mainly posting so others considering this case can see that it accommodates a GPU of this size comfortably without rendering all the other PCI slots useless.

See attached image. Thanks for reading.

How long did it take you to get your GPU? (if you don't mind me asking) :)

Also it looks great! I'm sorry that the posting doesn't show the picture right away (you gotta click on it to pop up in a separate tab) but otherwise, it looks nice and tight! Great job!

  5. When is the 7000x series going to be available to purchase?

have been checking Overclockers ,scan, amazon etc and all say overdue/out of stock/pre-order!!!

also i have already purchased a H150i capellix which comes with a rgb fan controller , will this work in conjunction with the commander xt in the 7000x case? . Can they be linked ?

The ELITE CAPELLIX' COMMANDER CORE and 7000 Series' COMMANDER CORE XT will simultaneously work together with both connected. They'll be identified as two separate controllers in iCUE.

  6. Well since I posted that last reply I seem to have been able to get the file to stick.

I ended up deleting the firmware.bin file and replacing it with the one they provided, then before unplugging I held the reset button on the back as I unplugged and plugged it back in. I may have replugged it a few times but even when it was showing as CRP Disabld I could see that the file I had placed in the file had stayed. After a few times of replugging, it seems to be working again.

I was even able to turn my computer off and back on and it stayed working. Hopefully, this answer could help someone else down the road and save a little frustration.

If you are looking for support I did find that calling was the quickest way to get through.

  7. the hot swap bay in my 800d case rails have broken and i need a way to replace or fix these stupid plastic parts that hold the drives in so i can keep using the hotswap bay

can corsair 3d print these parts for 800d owners on demand?

that drive bay was handy and we used it all the time on the file server and otherwise because of some plastic parts i will no longer be able to use it.

i dont know what to do and i dont want to spend more money to buy a new case and the time to dismantle everything.

i bought a spare hotswap bay backplane thinking that would die and even extra filters extra bay trays and it is a tiny little plastic thing that should have been metal that broke.

So unfortunately, this case being 12 years old - there are/will be no available spare parts of the pieces/parts that you need. We do not carry inventory of those parts unfortunately.

  8. Unfortunately I cannot edit my OP from earlier Post. So I've to apologize to open another thread.

I've just installed SF750 and RTX3080 and it works fine until now.

I own the Corsair Premium PSU Cable Kit and want to use 1 PCIe cable for the third connector of my videocard.

I need to know if the SF750 PCIe connectors and the PCIe cables from the 'Corsair Premium PSU Cable Kit' are compatible.

If one scrutinizes the pics, the connectors are different.

SF750: First connector third jack is empty.

Cable Kit: 1 jack is empty.

  9. With great sorrow I had to return my T3 because it's simply not up to the quality one would expect from Corsair.

Halfway its Corsair fault for presenting a picture in wich the seat is tilted backwards and locked in place with no one seated on it. Such picture was used by the retailer with no mention that the seat tilt cannot be locked on a desired angle. I should have checked corsair's product page that states it cannot be locked, a truth. Sadly the retailer decided to say nothing about it.

being my first gaming chair, i'm also disappointed the arms are so wobbly and that the wheels base is all plastic, this however i was ready to accept, but the arms are so loose feeling i thought it was faulty...

here hoping that corsair up their game on a possible T4 with a proper top tier gaming chair, the T3 was very comfortable, very, but all the rest of it couldnt compete with other products i came to discover after... sadly, had to settle with another brand.

I'm sorry you experienced such issues. What chair did you end up settling with? If you have any more feedback please let us know.

  10. I am assembling a T2 Road Warrior chair and i am having a problem with the gas lift. I had no trouble removing the red protective cover but i spent a couple of hours trying to remove the red cap at the top of the tube. It would move a bit up and down but i wasn't able to remove it completely from the tube. I talked to a friend who bought the same chair but he didn't have a problem like mine.

Is there something else i could try to remove it or is it possible my chair has a manufacturing error?

Q: How long does the provided Dolby Atmos subscription last for?

A: For the lifetime of the headset! There's no code necessary, just install Dolby Access from the Microsoft Store and your headset will show in the application's "Products" tab. You can double-check if Dolby Atmos is enabled by right clicking the sound icon at the bottom right of your task bar and select "Dolby Atmos for Headphones" from the extended spatial sound options.

    Q: What's Qualcomm aptX HD?

A: Paired with Bluetooth 5.0 and a compatible aptX HD device, Qualcomm® aptX™ HD codec delivers 24-bit HD audio wirelessly over Bluetooth and has been engineered to improve the signal-to-noise ratio, resulting in lower background noise. In other words, you'll be able to enjoy studio quality music when using your VIRTUOSO RGB Wireless XT on-the-go!

    Now available, supplies are limited!

Let us know your thoughts and comments! We can’t wait to hear your voices using Voicemod PRO too!

  12. Hi,

Thanks for your reply. The LL RGB series fans are selected in the drop down menu. If I change the selection (say, to autodetect), all of the fans connected to the commander core flash 'off' for a brief second, however, I have no control over any of the connected fans RGB, or the fan speed. I have the Cappelix cooler, 2 x radiator fans and 3 fans fitted to the front of the case.

I can see and select the cooler in icue. I can see all of the fans connecter to the core and I can see their speeds etc but I have no control over any of it...

Force a firmware update to your Elite Capellix/Commander Core and then see if you can control the lighting/performance then.

  13. After additional research, as it turns out, it is NOT the MM700. I was using it as a hub for the Dark Core RGB (I use it wired, but like to have the dongle plugged in, in case of firmware updates). I have confirmed that with the mouse UNPLUGGED and in WIRELESS MODE ONLY, ICUE launches and all games launch with no hiccups at all. However, with the mouse PLUGGED IN as well as the dongle PLUGGED IN, ICUE sometimes fails to load and I have these loading issues in my games. Still would like to know why this happens, if there's any info on it.

    Thanks for being so detailed.

We will look into it as well and see if we can replicate the issue. We will keep an eye on it in case there's additional reports.

  14. This is a keyboard my friend gave me because he was having issues with it and didn't want to go through the troubleshooting process, he just upgraded.

When I first went to test the keyboard I plugged it into my 2011 MacBook Pro (I am building a new computer, but waiting on some parts) it worked fine, it lit up, my computer recognized it and I was able to type. But after restarting my computer I have been unable to get it to work at all. Even tried plugging it into a much newer MacBook and still nothing.

When I plug it into my MacBook I get a "CRP DISABLD" drive that shows up on my desktop. I have tried anything I can find online to troubleshoot.

Any thoughts on what I could try next? I will have a PC to test on in the next couple of days.

    Sorry you're having trouble.

  15. Hi All,

I'm hoping somebody may be able to shed some light on an issue I'm having. I have a H115i Elite Capellix CPU cooler, this has 2 LL120 fans mounted on the radiator. The cooler and fans are plugged into a Commander Core controller.

For some reason I have no control over the RGB lighting effects in iCue. The software see's the cooler as it's displayed in the top bar of the software along with my keyboard.

I also have 3 front mounted fans on my case and a rear exhaust fan, all LL120's plugged into the same Commander Core. I have no control over any of the lighting effects in iCue, all the speeds etc seem to be displaying fine.

I wanted to add an extra couple of fans on the bottom of the case. So I purchased a couple of extra fans, a Commander Pro, the extra fans came with an RGB hub. I now have the 3 front fans, the exhaust fan and the 2 bottom fans plugged into the Commander Pro and the extra RGB hub and these are all working fine, they are listed and the RGB lighting is controllable via iCue, however the 2 radiator fans and the CPU cooler are the same, just stuck in the default rainbow effect and I have no control. If I plug the radiator fans into the separate3 RGB hub, they work fine.

Am I right to suspect the RGB portion of the Commander Core is faulty? The computer is only a couple of months old.

Oh and finally, port 6 of the separate RGB hub doesn't seem to be working either, there's no RGB lighting coming out of that at all I'm so confused, can anybody help?

What does the lightening setup tab on the commander core/elite capellix look like? (Can you take a picture). If not thats OK - possibly check if the LL RGB fans are selected from the drop down menu on your commander core's lightening setup page.

  16. So I have 2 monitors, one is a 3440x1440 and the other one is a 2560x1440.

    I have purchased

Corsair iCUE LS100 Smart Lighting Strip Starter Kit x2

Corsair iCUE LS100 Smart Lighting Strip Expansion Kit - 350mm x2

How would I get this working, or would I have to set it up as individual monitors? I would prefer to have them daisy chained, but I have no idea how it would work as the ultra wide would need 2x 450mm 2x 250mm and 2x 350mm just for the one monitor.

    Thanks for any help.

Hey there, sorry I didn't get to this sooner.

The lighting strips can be daisy-chained. Keep in mind the max RGB LEDs for the starter kit's controller (138 LEDs for 1 channel or Max. 192 LEDs for 2 channels). Each starter kit sums to a total of 84 LEDs. 350mm expansion strips have 21 LEDs. So you can run a starter kit and two 350mm expansion strips on one channel = 132 LEDs. The other starter kit would have to be run on the second channel. Another way is to have 1 starter kit on the smaller monitor and the rest on the ultrawide.

    Hope this helps.

I recently got a Sabre RGB Pro champion series and initially everything was fine. About 2 weeks ago, iCUE updated itself and also updated the mouse firmware.

Since then, I've had the following problems:

    • Hardware lighting setup doesn't seem to get saved to the mouse, so if iCUE isn't running or if I use the mouse on a different PC, it defaults to waterfall rather than my hardware lighting profile
    • DPI changes don't get saved to the mouse either, so if iCUE isn't running or if I use the mouse on a different PC they return to their default settings
    • DPI changes in different profiles don't work. If I set up a "Windows" profile with a "Windows" DPI profile linked to it, and a "Gaming" profile with a "Gaming" DPI profile linked to it, then when I switch from Windows to Gaming the DPI profile should change as well but it doesn't.

I've tried pretty much everything I can think of including multiple reinstalls / clean installs of iCUE, but nothing fixes it. I even tried installing the mouse + iCUE on a totally different PC and it still won't work. Looks like either the firmware is buggy, iCUE is buggy or both.

Anyone else having similar problems? Has anyone found a solution?

Hey there! Sorry you're having some trouble. I've seen your post in the iCUE section as well and you've said you've already sent a ticket in? What is your ticket number so I can check up on it.

  18. Since the 7000 series HDD cages are stackable, will Corsair store make them available for purchase? (both the black and white versions)

How many of them could we stack together at most? I'm considering using it as a large NAS with loads of 3.5" HDDs. But I suppose the limit due to structural stability/integrity may be less than the physical limit.

And would it be possible to fit side fans while using the HDD cages?

Btw, many YouTube reviewers failed to mention the HDD cage stacking possibility.

The HDD cases are intended and designed to work inside the case. We cannot give you direction outside of intended use unfortunately but if you need a replacement HDD case for your 7000, please contact support.

    I hope everything works out!

  19. I really hope there will come a new version of 1000D, since that case is already years old, I prefer buying something newer.

Else I will go with 1000D as it's currently the only one which can hold all my stuff (single PC, not multi). I have the CoolerMaster HAF X right now, which is also pretty big, but there is no free space in there anymore, Corsair watercooling prodocts all over, tons of fans, tons of RGB, tons of everything bassicly..

So I rly hope a new version of it will come. Keep up the good work tho! :)

Thank you again for the feedback!

  20. Appreciate the full tower and swivel doors! Was wishing it was this tall when buying the 5000X. Would love to have the glass side panel on the right as an option/add-on if y'all are taking feedback.

Still will probably get this one but love showing off the cable management on the right side in the 5000X with the internal panel off, makes me bittersweet to have to give that up for the nice full tower size lol. Thanks!

    Thank you for the feedback!
