  1. Awesome. I'm off to play! EDIT: WOW! Well done guys you have exceeded my expectations. I'm only beginning to scratch the surface but this is fantastic! Give yourselves a hearty pat on the back! - I removed link all together now and everything, EVERYTHING is running through iCue!
  2. I don't think that Corsair will be releasing any information about the software until it is released. I can imagine they have been working very hard behind the scenes for a very long time and the big reveal is going to be the moment they release the software to the public! It's not like we have to wait long though is it?
  3. Been doing a bit of reading about the integration between corsair peripherals and Farcry 5. I hope this starts to take with other games too, I would love to see this in rainbow six siege or battlefield 1 for example. Keep up the good work Corsair!
  4. Really, where did you find that out? Exciting times!
  5. Yes I agree, although if you are using the advanced setting in CUE you can create custom animations for your devices and have them in any order you like. It takes a little more work but it's worth the effort. That being said I would be wonderful to be able to arrange the order of components for the basic animations and even better still if you could change the position/order of the LED strips and fans on the LNP
  6. Yeah, I can't wait to have everything synchronised! And the fact that we will have much more control over the inside of the case is going to make this software superb! Really can't wait and to celebrate I think I will be buying another couple of HD120s to fill out my system.
  7. Hey solarity! I have been using both Link and CUE and at the moment it's a bit of a pain having two different programs, not least because Link doesn't support profiles that can be linked to programs in the way CUE can. This means before I load a game I have to change the profile in link manually. From my understanding so far, the two will be combined and all the visual effects will be available across the board! With all that said, the LNP is probably the best aesthetic product I have bought for the inside of my case and when the new software does come, it's going to get a whole lot better! In summary, get it bought!
  8. Ha i'm sure this is going to have all the effects that the current hardware has in cue so I doubt that will be an issue. By the looks of things, we will have layers, and each of those LEDs looks like it is going to be selectable which means you can set different effects or colours for different LEDs. That is just a hunch though :) EDIT: the keen eyed among you might have also seen that rainbow wave for those fans, appears to be the 'Demo Mode' that we experienced for a time with the current link. The rainbow starts at fan one and seems to go all the way through to fan 5 before it repeats.. now that is cool!
  9. Oh wow how exciting! That looks pretty slick! I honest to god cannot wait! Thanks James :)
  10. I know it takes time and i'm sure they are working as fast as they can on it, but is there any harm in telling us how they are getting on with it? I'd be far more captivated if they kept us in the loop about their progress. I'm just so sick of waiting for something that should have been available from the start.
  11. OH this is painful! I don't mean to be rude but why announce something that is not even close to being ready to use? It's like scientists 'discovering' time travel.. but it won't actually allow you to travel through time for another 1000 years... PLEAAASSSEEEE give us something to go on, anything at all, pretty please :)
  12. Is there any more news on the software Corsair? I'm sure you guys are working hard to make it work perfectly but a little update on progress would be greatly appreciated by your most loyal fans! EDIT: That's me and Zotty if there was any doubt about that!
  13. Wow, I would have probably sold them as a lot by now.. I don't get a great deal of spare cash to spend on my pc though so I suppose if I had everything I wanted then I would be tempted to hang onto them too.
  14. Yes I know what you mean, I am using the advanced CUE settings so all of my animations are custom made but if I want to have an easy life I would have to move it next to my computer, which is less than ideal
  15. I have just had a message about the ST100 and it got me thinking. When the new software is available, can we change the placement of the items for the LED animations?? For example some people have their case to the left of the desktop and some to the right. In this case the LEDs will have to light up at the case first then move through the keyboard and then the mouse mat. Will it be possible to 'position' our peripherals in the new CUE software so the animation happens properly?
  16. No but it is a really cool idea if you have a couple spare, or like some, have upgraded to the LL series instead.
  17. Yes I just had a look at that, it's a great idea but a little pricey for my wallet ;) I just hope Corsair come up with a solution with this software so we don't have to hack our way to a perfect setup
  18. Yes Perfect! If the software could determine how many fans you have connected and allow more strips on one channel with fewer fans, that would be perfect! At the moment I have 7 strips on one, with one in parallel (that was an experiment but I will change that if this goes ahead) and the rest in series, and two HD120 fans, so well within my limits EDIT: I have just realised how stupid that sounds. It obviously doesn't matter how many fans are connected as the fans are connected to power separately. So at the very least they should allow 8 strips on one port if you have a fan hub selected right?
  19. Hey Corsair James, when the new software releases, will there be any changes to the way the node works with the LED strips. Obviously it has no problem with 6 strips daisy chained when you tell it they are fans so will there be some way we can have 6 strips on one channel instead of just 4? That would complete my life!
  20. Yes like Zotty mentioned you can use a second PSU however I have quite a small setup so my PC is quite close to my monitor so I went the other way. I only have the one LNP inside my PC so I used one of the small holes on the bottom of the machine to pass the extension cables through. Most cases have such holes so it shouldn't be a problem if you have a smaller setup and have your LNP inside your case. I have an LED strip under the case which then connects to an extension (I had to make it longer but the same can be achieved by daisy chaining the extensions). Then just hook up your external LEDs and you are done.
  21. Yes if you want to add the LED strips to your desk and/or monitor then you will need to have a cable coming out of your PC so it is all linked to the lighting node pro or the commander pro inside your case. With some clever wiring you can have the extension connector on the bottom of the PC in an easily accessible location so you can move your PC if you need to by simply un clipping the cable first.
  22. Unfortunately you can't synchronise the HID peripherals with the internal fans and LEDs yet but that is my understanding of the aim of SYNC it. From what I can gather we will also have full per LED control over the LEDs inside the case as we do with the LEDs outside the case. Corsair are being very tight lipped about progress and when we might see the software finished and ready to use. I for one can't wait!
