Here's a look at the space between the side of the PSU and the PSU window. With the acrylic window removed, you have 20mm of space to stuff things in here. With the window installed, it's 16mm of space.
What Corsair really needs to do is a PSU with an OLED screen or some kind of cool RGB display on the side.
