Here's a GPU (with a standard ATX motherboard in back) mounted in the innermost slot. It is quite close to the motherboard. This may pose issues for larger headers on the bottom - I'm thinking, specifically, about USB 3.0 connectors. It's also pretty tough to get the PCIe extension cable in there.
You can also see that the SSD trays are still installed.
