JML10166
Does anyone know or can Corsair confirm if the AF120 Quiet Edition are Compatible with H100, meaning will I still be able to adjust the fan speed with the guage on the pump/cpu??? You would want to SP120 fans, not the AF120. I have a pair of SP120s set up currently and they work fine, aside from some clicking noise when you get close. I'm waiting for reports on the new H100i fans before I decide if I will go with those, or a new pair of 4-pin SP120s when those come out. Redwing3139
Why the SP120's as opposed to the AF120's?
virus86
Why the SP120's as opposed to the AF120's? SP = static pressure. AF = air flow. You want the SP because its static pressure optimized. Static pressure is ideal for high resistance applications, like a radiator.
Redwing3139
but I am worried about the noise with the SP
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 22, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 22, 2013 You can get the SP120 quiet edition if noise level is your concern. This will run silent and at the same time maintains a good static pressure. http://www.corsair.com/en/cpu-cooling-kits/air-series-fans/air-series-sp120-quiet-edition-high-static-pressure-120mm-fan-twin-pack.html
