dark_orse
Hi there I've just had an Asus P5B Deluxe motherboard failure on my computer and decided to replace the motherboard with an inexpensive small form factor Asrock G41M-VSR-R2.0. The Asrock board has a 4 pin ATX socket. But the HX520W only has an 8 pin ATX plug. I know that this 8 pin ATX plug on the HX520W is "supposed" to split into two, but the plug I have is definitely a solid moulded 8 pin plug with no way to split it that I can see? Is there anything that can be done? Are there 4 pin ATX modular plugs available from Corsair to fit the HX520W?
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted December 21, 2012 Corsair Employee Share Posted December 21, 2012 Can you take a picture of the cable and the label on the PSU and post it here?
dark_orse
Hi there Thanks for getting back to me. The pics aren't that great but hopefully will be sufficient for your purposes of identification. As I said the 8 pin ATX plug is a solid moulded unit and there is no way it has been designed to be split in two.
