costi07
When I cut the current from the PSU(pc is OFF / S5 state) the capacitors discharge with a quite loud noise. It's normal?! The capacitors are in good state, fully functional!?
mariush
I got one TX 850 with this problem replaced by the retailer.
costi07
Indeed, BUT, my retailer (pc gar age) most likely won't consider it a problem or malfunction. So I need an official answer!
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted April 6, 2012 Corsair Employee Share Posted April 6, 2012 This is not normal. Please try the exchange with your local retailer first, if for whatever reason they can't help you, please go to our web site at http://www.corsair.com and submit an RMA exchange request. Thank you. costi07
Ok, I will try. The PSU has almost one year but he doesn't run over 50 hours because until now I haven't succeeded to put together components that needed more power. My system runs now with an HX 450. Thank you for the answer.
