3bqruk Posted February 21, 2012 Share Posted February 21, 2012 I have CORSAIR 1GB 200-Pin DDR SO-DIMM DDR 333 (PC 2700) Laptop Memory Model VS1GSDS333 That won't work in my Compaq Presario v2000. System beeps twice, I believe. Tried both slots, updated bios.This ram worked in an other laptop with no problem. Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted February 25, 2012 Corsair Employee Share Posted February 25, 2012 I am sorry but if the module works in another system then that system may not support our modules. You can try and force a bios error by removing all of the memory and turn the system on then unplug it and install just one of our modules and see if it will post. Please note you will need to remove the batter when you remove the memory and unplug the power to turn it off to force the BIOS to reset. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
