nikki123
I've two systems with sata controllers. But on none of them firmware update is working. I always get "no drive found". I tried it from my installed windows 7 system on another hd, i tried it with win7rescuepe and also with UBCD4WIN on both systems. I also didn't forget to "run as admin" "win7 compability" and so on but No luck so far. The strange thing is: with the ssd toolbox from **** i'm able to see the drive with installed windows 7 and also with win7rescuepe. I don't want to upgrade firmware for F40 with toolbox from **** because i don't know what happens than. That's just to let you know that something with firmware upgrade tool must be very strange if it can't find the drive.

Toasted
Plug it in to the Intel motherboard and enable AHCI. And try again When you tried firmware 2.0 did it detect the SSD and update the firmware?
