Synthohol
Force series SSDs fare better in desktops, the Performance series seem to be more compatible with notebook/laptops.
Yellowbeard
master~ u still busy? There is no one at this forum by that name. Additionally, Corsair is closed on the weekend.
bbogey
I'm using F120 in my 13" MBP, I have problem that resuming from hibernate does not work and I have disabled that. Otherwise system is working really fast. I almost never see the beach ball. If you have used TRIM enabler, that may cause problems to some systems. Where and how you see the jams? If you it fails when resuming after battery is run off, then you should disable hibernate. command to disable hibernate mode: sudo pmset hibernatemode 0 to set it back to default sudo pmset hibernatemode 3 See more info in pmset manual: http://developer.apple.com/library/mac/#documentation/Darwin/Reference/ManPages/man1/pmset.1.html

Synthohol
Yellowbeard is a pirate not a jedi ;) if sata2 is the fastest you can use then there is nothing faster than what you have now.

Synbios
Check with your laptop if it supports SATA2 or SATA3. You can get a Performance3 if it supports SATA3 and most likely you won't have any compatibility issues with that drive.
