PHLAK Posted June 30, 2011 Share Posted June 30, 2011 I have a DP67BG Extreme motherboard and 2 x 4GB of CMX8GX3M2A2000C9 RAM and it's giving me a post error of 27 "Configuring memory" and three long beeps and wont post. I also tried 2 x 2GB of CM3X2048-1333C9DHX RAM from my old PC and it's getting the same error code and three beeps. Are there any known compatibility issues with this motherboard and either of these types of RAM? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted June 30, 2011 Corsair Employee Share Posted June 30, 2011 That MB will not support DDR2000 memory but it still should post with either set at DDR1333, did you try one module at a time and try to reset or clear the MB BIOS?
