JRuss2k
Hey all, I am building a new storage server for some multimedia work stuff and considering using an existing HX1000 I have. Here are the relevant specs: ASUS P6T6 RevolutionGTX 260Areca 1880ix-16 Raid controller (newegg.com)Areca battery back-up unit16 Hitachi 3TB hard drives (sata 3) (newegg.com)1 300GB Velociraptor sata 2) (boot drive)DVD RW Would this PSU be appropriate for this load? Would I need to get additional sata power cables from Corsair (they are going in a case without a backplane)? Thanks!

Wired
PSU Finder shows you'll be fine with plenty of overhead. Yeah, I think you will need extra cables, but they may have to be splitters.
