sorshadragon
I had to go back to auto config on my RAM (see specs in my user account) whenever I enable X.M.P. two(2) of my 12GB is no longer seen by windows or the taskmanager. CPUZ see's there is 12GB, but Windows doesn't see or use it. I reset the bios, rebooted with auto saw 12GB, then I enabled XMP and I saw 10GB. PrObE
Have you OC'ed your CPU at all? XMP-setting will create problems if enabled on OC-settings. Reseat as stated above, set defaults in Bios, clear Cmos and try again. Good luck.

sorshadragon
no OC what-so-ever. RAMGuy was the OP who told me last year to use XMP and it worked up until a few weeks ago, I'm using the same BIOS, nothing changed.
