QuentinHer
I recently bought a Corsair PadLock 2 in 8GB .. i just want to know: - On the keypad, how can we know if we are using 0 or 1, 2 or 3, 4 or 5 ... is it one button for each both characters ? - And when we defined a master PIN... how can we change it ?? Thanks !
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 29, 2010 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 29, 2010 The Numbers are there for your reference and to the controller do not mean anything only that you hit that button in a specific sequence. Please look in the manual this is explained. But in a nut shell the drive has to be unlocked using the master Pin to reset the master Pin or use the master reset to clear the drive. Please note some of these steps will totally erase the drive so back up any information on the drive first.
QuentinHer
Thanks for your answer, changing the master PIN is not explain the product guide. I follow the steps of "change user PIN" with an authentication with the master PIN and it was a success.
