Deadroger
Hi, I have a 3 1/2 year old Corsair HX520W PSU that is causing me some concern. Over the last month or so it has started to make a clicking/tapping sound after a cold boot. It lasts a few minutes then the noise goes. It only happens after my PC has been off for a few hours or longer. Other than the noise it seems to be working as it should. I've never had any problems with it from day one. I thought maybe there is some dust in there, although i do keep my PC as dust free as possible. Maybe it's on it's way out? Any help greatly appreciated. Deadroger
It seems the ticking is now all the time, although quieter when warm. As no one seems to know what's wrong with it i will RMA it anyway.
