.Sparky.
Hi, Currently looking at building a new system based around the Corsair 600T chassis with a Corsair H70 cooler and the Asus Rampage III Extreme MB. My questions are: 1. Can I replace the Stock H70 fans with a couple of Noctua NF-P14-FLX 140mm Fans I currently have? 2. Will the H70+Noctua fans fit inside the 600T with the Asus Extreme III MB? Can anyone help - Thanks,
tomuhs
I have a very similar build: 600T with a Gigabyte UD-5 and H70 on my 950. I am currently using the P12s on the H70 but I recently ordered a pair of P14s but i'm unsure if it will be a big difference since the p12s have rated higher for static pressure. There was a little bit of a concern regarding having enough clearance with the top exhaust fans and the12s; i'll let you know if i encounter any issues installing the p14s, worst comes to worst if they don't fit, I will mount them on the side panel. Cheers, Tommy
Yellowbeard
The big question is how to mount 140mm fans onto the radiator. You'll probably have to do some ghetto modding.
tomuhs
Hey, So I just installed the NH-P14 on to the h70. There is a little bit of an issue with the side panel not closing all the way (there's like a 2mm gap) but otherwise i can confirm that it does fit and did lower my temps from the NH-P12s by a few degrees. Hope this helps, Tommy
Layback Bear
The P14 have mounting for 120 and 140 to a 120 location.
