skywalkertck
I upgraded both of my RAMs cards on my laptop and lost my old ones. I'm afraid that personal information might be stored on the lost RAM cards, making me vulnerable to ID theft. However, I did a little research on RAM and came to the conclusions that once the RAM card doesn't have power, all data is permanently erased while certain RAM cards allow info to be recovered within a few minutes of losing power. However, after this time, data is lost. Is this accurate?
Yellowbeard
System memory does not store any information after the power is removed from them.
