icemanjs Posted December 22, 2009 Share Posted December 22, 2009 i have 12gb on a gigabyte ud4p with a noctua cooler..i was thinking of adding 140mm fans to my cooler but the heatspreader is in the way for me to install it..i heard the heatspreaders can be taken off with the 3 screws..is it safe to do and will i loose performance....
