CM2X1024-6400 Blue screens

Hello all,

 

I am new to this forum. I registrated because I have some problems with my system wich I think is related to my memory. I am getting random blue screens (IRQL not less or equal) in Windows 7 64 bit and my Vista 32 bit installation isnt stable too. I tried to set memory comfiguration in the bios which makes it worse or sometimes a bit better. Memtest86 does not give any errors.

I need to know the correct memory configuration in the bios and I am sure you guys can help me out.

My system:

Asus m2n SLI deluxe

AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+

1x XFX geforce 9800gt

2x CM2X1024-6400

I would set the memory voltage to 2.0 Volts and the timings can be left at Auto with these modules but the settings are printed on the lable.

Thanks for your reply and advice. I set the memory voltage to 2.0 Volts but the bluescreens are still there. Looking at the timings. The label says 5-5-5-12. Auto settings will set it to 5-5-5-18 2T and the specs on the corsair website say 5-5-5-18 too. So I am a little confused.

I set the timing to what the label says and will see what happens.

I tried both settings but it doesn't make any difference. Are there any other BIOS settings I can try?
