I have tried the device on Mac OS X (laptop and desktop - both intel) and Windows Vista with approximately the same performance on all machines. I have tried reformatting different partitions with different tools with no effect. I assume I have a faulty item. Or is there a fix out there somewhere? Cheers! polophonic Posted October 10, 2009 Author Share Posted October 10, 2009 The USB drive is now detaching itself for no apparent reason. It also sometimes takes 2/3 attempts at getting the drive to attach/mount. I think something is clearly wrong with this. Can someone advise me on the best method for getting a replacement? polophonic Posted October 23, 2009 Author Share Posted October 23, 2009 The drive is now regularly unmounting itself and also sometimes refusing to unmount (drive in use).
