cup0spam
So I was getting errors in Prime95 with my non-overclocked system. I have installed 2Gx3|CORSAIR TR3X6G1600C8 G inside this box, and since it was built it randomly reboots. Tonight I decided to run memtest86+ on it, and before the first pass could finish, I was getting errrors: Failing address: 0007a1a20cc, c4, 3c,34,2c,24,1c,14,0c,04,etc... So how do I narrow down the bad stick? I don't have a ton of spare time, and I want some working memory ASAP. What's the process? I didn't see my memory type listed in the RMA section... Ramguy? Thanks!
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted September 24, 2009 Corsair Employee Share Posted September 24, 2009 Are you running 2 sets for a total of 6 modules and what are the BIOS settings you have set for both CPU and memory? And I would test the modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org and just laod setup defaults and set XMP to enabled.
