soren koch Posted April 23, 2009 Share Posted April 23, 2009 My system have 4gb ram :biggrin: 2 pairs of Corsair CM2x1024-6400G 5-5-5-12 800mhz xms6405v5.1 and 2 pairs of Corsair CM2x1024-6400 5-5-5-18 800mhz 1.90v ver5.2 The system will NOT boot with both types installed at the same time. MEMTEST says no errors. Motherboard is MSI k9a2gm-fih, have also tried with a ASUS board and got same error!!! Whats wrong?? :[pouts: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted April 23, 2009 Corsair Employee Share Posted April 23, 2009 With 4 modules I would suggest setting the memory frequency at DDR667 and set the memory Voltage to 2.0 Volts and set the NB/MCH/SPP Voltage to +.2 Volts as well and test the system with http://www.memtest.org. In addition, with some MB's (Mostly ASUS) you have to disable legacy USB in the bios when running any memory test. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
