Madgolfer Posted April 1, 2009 Share Posted April 1, 2009 Anyone come across this problem I'm in Italy. My HX520 is quiet when using a transformer to change the AC from 220V to 110V input. I don't want to use a transformer because the PS is dual voltage, and electricity is extremely expensive when using one. When I plug straight into 220V the PS makes clicking noises based on the load. Surfing the net it's noisy with extra clicks while scrolling the mouse wheel. When playing COD4 the PS is quiet. The easy answer is to use a transformer an pay the higher bill. I would test the PSU on a different circuit in your home and see if you can duplicate the same issues, and if so, lets get it replaced! You can use the On Line RMA Request Form and we will be happy to replace it.
