kylejones Posted March 31, 2004 Share Posted March 31, 2004 hi i have the value select vs1gbkit400 ram and i decided to run memtest86 after reciveing some general protection errors and when doing so i descovered my ram has some errors on it, so i went to fry's echanged the ram for the same model and put that in my system and when i ram memtest again i got errors on the brand spankin new ram too. ram timings (default) 8 3 3 2.5 wat do u suggest i do? kylejones Posted March 31, 2004 Author Share Posted March 31, 2004 iv got the errors in memtest down i only got 6 today while i was at school but still shouldnt i be getting zero? also to get no errors i had to change my timings to 2.5 3 3 7 and up the voltage to 2.6 so is this ok and what can i do so i dont get any errors when i run it?
