Blackburn
I am building a new system and bought a pair of CM2X2048-6400C5DHX (2x2gb). If I put Stick A in, my system will post fine. However, no matter what configuration I use, Stick B will cause the system to not boot (it won't post). (mobo is an Asus P5Q-Deluxe) Here is what I tried: Stick A slot 1 - works Stick A slot 1, stick B slot 3 - does not post Stick B slot 1 - does not post Stick B slot 2 - does not post Stick B slot 3 - does not post Stick B slot 4 - does not post Stick A slot 2 - works Stick A slot 3 - works Stick A slot 4 - works Stick A slot 2, Stick B slot 4 - does not post Stick A slot 1, Stick B slot 2 - does not post When stick B is in any slot, the computer will not post. The monitor does not even wake up from stand-by. I start school on Monday, so this is really urgent. I have no computer (I built this one because my old one died last week). The faster this could be processed the better! Thank you.
